As a parent, environmental advocate, and firm believer in the power of play, I embarked on a mission to revolutionize the way we think about toys.

Why We Got Started

​

Do you remember what your home looked like before having kids? What about after? If you are anything like us, it is a zoo!

     As consumers, our children have an average of 100 toys and lose interest in 25% of them after just one week. By the end of January, around 35% of Christmas toys are no longer loved, becoming home clutter or waste.

 

     This cycle has long lasting impacts on the environmental future. As a global industry, the toy market is a 90 billion dollar industry and yet 80% of all toys end up in landfills. It is projected that by 2050, the equivalent of almost three planets could be required to provide the natural resources needed to sustain our current lifestyles.
